Band Name
Brothers Windham
Genre
Good vibes. 😎

My name is Blayze Windham and I’m a musician from Tupelo, MS. I was the lead guitarist for Bikini Frankenstein(2012-2022, 24? 😏) and play/played with Jason Childers and Co., the Tatum Shappley Band, and pretty much anyone who would have me on stage. I am currently fronting Brothers Windham, a power trio based in North Mississippi.

Band Members

We have Brother Caleb Guth from Fulton on the bass guitar and madness. He’s seasoned pro with certifications in “holding down the low end” and a Bachelor’s in Singing Good Harmony. He’s got the voice of an angel and can legitimately play the hammered dulcimer.

Brother Chase Windham is a powerhouse drummer and multi instrumentalist. Chase has been laying the smooth grooves down since he has in diapers. He is the conductor of the funky bus. An avid producer, it’s been rumored that he maintains a studio in the office of the former Zoo building on South Gloster.

Favorite Song Composed/Performed

“Black Sheep” is one of our original tunes that’s super fun to jam on. It’s a quirky little song about being on the losing end of a culture clash basically. I also love to play “Bittersweet” by Big Head Todd and the Monsters. It’s just a really special song that’s dear to my heart.

Most Embarrassing Thing To Happen at a Gig
If it’s embarrassing and can happen, it HAS happened to me on a gig. 😂
Where We're From
I’m from Tupelo and my dad owned a music store growing up. I got to hang out with and steal licks from everybody. Being surround by such a diverse musical environment definitely shaped me into the musician I am today.
Most Significant Thing to Happen to Us in Our Music
I just consider myself blessed to get to play music everyday.
Check Out This Local Band
Honestly, I’d like to recommend ALL of the great bands and artists in our area. North Mississippi is rich with art and I truly believe some of the best art is being created right here in our back yard. A new young band I dig is called Leather Rose!
Our Greatest Influence
My dad is definitely the biggest influence on my brother and I musically. He taught us music can heal. I’d have to say that Billy Armstrong also had a massive influence on us. He basically taught us how to be in a band. Best band dad you could ask for!
Artist We'd Meet, Living or Dead

Dead, I’d go with Prince or Hendrix. Both of those guys really influence my playing to this day and my inner fan boi can’t be reasoned with.

Alive, I think I’d be super cool to meet Paul McCartney. I mean, he’s a Beatle!
